GI-MAP + Zonulin
$549.00 USD
The GI-MAP is the gold standard in functional stool testing. DNA-based analysis of gut infections, bacterial overgrowth, parasites, fungal imbalance, intestinal inflammation, gut barrier function, immune defence, and digestive capacity.
Description
The GI-MAP (Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus) is the stool test I use most frequently in my clinical practice. It is a quantitative PCR test, meaning it not only identifies organisms but tells you how much of each is present. That matters because some organisms are only problematic above a certain threshold.
I run a stool test on every patient as a minimum, regardless of gut symptoms. Some of the worst stool test results I have seen have come from people who described their digestion as fine. The gut drives immune function, inflammation, hormonal balance, mood, and energy. If you skip this test, you are missing a critical piece of the picture.
If you have been through multiple gut protocols that helped temporarily and then stopped, this test usually reveals why. It identifies the specific organisms, the level of inflammation, the state of your immune defence, and whether your digestive capacity is compromised.
